In your forum, go to the profile of the administrator you want to remove admin permissions from. Click on the tab that says group. Scroll down until you find the administrator group. Then click remove from group and click Yes to confirm. The administrator will no longer be an administrator but can still post in the form as a normal account.

Thank you.
I still cannot work out how to do this. There does not seem to be an option to remove from group only ban or delete.
Any further advice would be greatly appreciated

Thank you. I still cannot work out how to do this. There does not seem to be an option to remove from group only ban or delete. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated Cathie You mentioned you were the forum owner, but I wanted to confirm: do you log into an account with the username of "admin" / did you create the forum? I am not doubting your ownership, but sometimes people are handed the reins of ownership from someone else but do not realise there are certain things that can be accomplished only by the "admin" account unless those powers are manually granted through the admin panel to the administrator member group. If you ARE the forum creator, then it would be beneficial to share a screenshot (you can upload it as an attachment to your reply) of what you see when following the previously provided steps. If you are NOT the forum creator, it is possible you aren't able to change a user's member groups. If this is the case, let us know and there are a few things you can do to see if you can get the powers without involving the forum creator. Alternatively, if the person you're attempting to remove from being an administrator is the forum creator and they are stepping down, there is a different process entirely for that.

51cathie - I see you have more than one account on the forum. Make sure you are logged into the main admin account (username: admin). Once there click into the profile of the member you wish to remove as administrator. As shown in moonbeam's screenshot above, click on the Groups tab and then on the link for 'Remove from Group'. Please let us know how this goes for you.
