Advertising in the middle of forum and boards

Recently adverts have started to appear in the middle of the forum and boards, is this now a new feature. 

It happens on my iPad and desktop using Safari.

One of the team members for ProBoards has replied to a similar topic stating that the ads are intentional.

This interstitial ad is a part of the PB advertisements. While not present on every forum it will appear on many.

Unfortunately it isn't possible to move this advertisement, sorry!
