Hello,
I would like to request a transfer of the above-named forum to me. I have a local account at the forum in question: see here.
My case is that the forum is abandoned. The administrator won’t be coming back anytime soon – I should know since the administrator is me. However, I have since then deleted the email-account associated with that account, and at any rate I don’t have the credentials to the account or to the associated email-address anymore. The forum was created over two years ago now and from a cursory overview, outside of the few posts made with my old account, the latest being in February, 2022, all other posts seem to be spam.
I have already made a forum on the same theme using the account I’m creating this thread with, but since then I’ve decided to investigate the possibility of recovering the original account (deemed impossible) and, now, of having the account transferred.
As for what I plan to do with the forum, should it be transferred: I would delete all content so I may start anew. I doubt many, if any, of the registered accounts are legitimate or were/are interacting with the forum in a legitimate manner, and so I would venture to get rid of them. I will of course commit myself to maintaining the forum long-term; certainly for longer than I did originally. The new forum I made would be deleted since it’d be a duplicate.
The new forum is serviceable and I would be fine with continuing to use it. The old forum is, however, at a more convenient URL and is also the original, hence my desire to have it transferred.
