proboards forums not loading on wired internet connection

It doesn't matter what Proboards forum I attempt to open, they're not opening for me at all on a wired connection.

I always get the error message: "this site can't be reached, (forum link) took too long to respond)"

ERR CONNECTION TIMED OUT

However I am able to open all Proboards sites while on my mobile data connection. Is there something I need to be on the lookout for?

I also attempted to look up my wired IP address but there was no public IP address found.

Hi

First thing i would try is resyatying your internet modem. If the problem persists, does it happen accross multiple devices whilst on the wifi connection, or just one device?

Happening across desktop (laptop), and mobile. Swapping over to mobile data has it all working. I don't know what's happening.

(jc*nk forums load fine on both wired and mobile data connection, for reference. Or am I not allowed to mention the competitor's name?)

All other websites that are NOT Proboards (or Proboards related in general, I tried loading freeforums, and boards.net and these are not working) are loading just fine on both wired and mobile data connection.

EDIT: I have used an "is it down" website checker; any and ALL Proboards-related sites are showing up as down for me on the wired connection.

We had issues in the past with people spamming links to other forums, so they were censored to help stop that. No problem with mentioning other forum providers, otherwise

That it is happening across multiple devices would usually rule out a device issue. If you are using anti-virus, vpn etc, do you have them installed on both?

All the forums are up and running, so i am thinking that that is it down website you are using is using a similar connection to check.  Do you get a similar result if you check on this site?

It is potentially a localised connection issue.  Is your ISP currently experiencing any known problems?

Hanelli - as Craig pointed out all forums are loading just fine. The fact you can access the forums using cell data and not your wifi/wired connection would indicated something in that setup is the cause.

Echoing Craig's question, are you using a VPN, and/or running any security or anti-virus software or such? If so, try disabling and see if that makes a difference.
