Can a deleted thread be restored?

Is there a way that a deleted thread can be restored? 

I meant to delete a post in the thread and deleted the whole thread. It was at least 7 pages long and took months to build.

No it is not possible to restore a deleted thread. The best you can do is look at the internet archive sites, (wayback machine and Google) and see if you can find it and rebuild the thread.

ProBoards does have backups, but they are for a failure on their end.

Sorry it is not better news.
