Quote table not showing

Hi, 

When I reply to a post by selecting the quote button, the reply box displays the quote in code, instead of in a window or table. Other forums I’ve visited place the quote in the same format that is used when it is posted. I do use a theme, but this problem is occurring across all themes and I’m not sure why it’s different. Am I missing code, or do I need a plug in of some kind?

Just as step for helpers: Have you added any codes or plugins since yesterday? I see the quotes were displaying correctly on yesterday’s posts….at least the ones I can see as a guest.
If no solutions are suggestions are offered over the weekend, please check back on Monday, when the office opens. A support admin will take a look at your setup.

Hi.

When you quote somebody, you get taken to the full reply area rather than the quick reply. It sounds like you are in BBCode rather than Preview mode, which is why you're seeing the code.

You can switch between them using the buttons just under the text box or if you want to make it the default, the option is located at Profile > Edit Profile > Settings tab and look for the Posting Default option.

Thank you. This was indeed my problem. I assumed that it was the same for everyone, but perhaps it only got flipped in my profile.

For forum creators (username: admin) the Posting Default is preset to BBCode. For members it's preset to Preview. The default can be changed by editing one's profile (Settings tab).
