Tapatalk app issue: 'the token could not be verified'

Some forum members using the tapatalk app get the following when trying to log into our proboards forum 'the token could not be verified'
Is there a work around for this problem?

I would check with the member to make sure they have the latest version of TT installed. They could also try unfollowing the forum, close out the app, launch and then follow the forum again. Note, just to make sure the app closes, I would have them restart their device.

I've had this same problem myself in the past and what Tapatalk told me to do is when it asks you if you are < your user name>, say no. Then manually enter your username and password. That worked for me.
