Not sure if this is the right place to ask...
I've got 23 mht files that I'd like to somehow display in my forum. How would I go about doing that and is it even possible? I know I can covert them to pdf's and then just let people download those, but the conversion actually loses some info. IOW, it's not a perfect conversion. I tried two online converters to png, but neither worked. Do I have any options?

You could upload the MHT files as attachments if you have them enabled on your forum and that would allow people to download them — however they would need to then open them up in Chrome or Edge (Firefox does not support opening them). This is also not a graphic design request (you are not requesting graphics for your forum to be created) so I am moving this to the appropriate board.
