I typically compose long posts in WORD & then use copy-&-paste to the PB forums (YBB Personal Finance, Big Bang Investors).
But I also compose some long posts at PB, or edit long posts after pasting them.
Lately, I have found that when new ads flash at the top or bottom, the text input stops, & if I am not directly looking at the screen, some typed text just gets lost in the cyberspace.
I have watched this issue for a while. My best guess is that when some new ads flash, the cursor position in the post body is lost & must be restored by a click before more text can be entered. This is very annoying.
It isn't related to any specific ad, so I am not using "Report Ad" feature, but posting the issue here.
I use W-10 & Chrome browser. FWIW, I was using W-11, but had a HD crash & the replacement HD was smaller & could support only W-10. I also have Edge and Firefox that I use for other purposes, but haven't tested this PB issue there.
This issue started (or, I noticed it) a few weeks ago.

yogibearbull - to the best of my knowledge this shouldn't be an issue, however I will look in to it.

I've also experienced this, with varying degrees of severity. It hasn't really been noticeable lately, but about a month ago I could barely compose a 4-5 sentence paragraph without being interrupted about 8-10 times. This happened mainly at this forum, where I even started a thread about it. At the time I was also using Win10 with Chrome, but a few days ago I switch to Firefox and I haven't kept track of the issue.
