Joining A Forum

Hi!  First time using support, so hopefully this is alright.  I'm trying to join the aforementioned forum, which is largely dead, but not entirely; however, I've been waiting two weeks for the staff (if there are any left) to approve me as a member.  I thought that I'd go and find who the staff are, to contact them about approving me as it's been a bit, but in order to view the membership, etc. of the forum, you already need to be a registered member.  Is there any way that I can get out of this paradox?  I'm new to forums in general, since they were before my time, and this is all so confusing.  Thanks!

I’m afraid there’s nothing you or us can do about the situation. As you already mentioned, the forum has been inactive for quite a long while so, waiting for a staff member to login and approve you is probably a forlorn hope especially if not all staff members have been given power of approval.
Sorry that we can’t assist you. You can always try another forum. Not all of them have the approval setting in place so you can just simplify register and  become a member, automatically.

Michael, I visited the forum that you included a link to & it does allow Guests to post. What you could do is try posting your request there by clicking-on Create Thread. Then composing your request & then clicking-on Create Thread in the bottom-right corner.

However, as Sossity has said, that forum as been inactive for quite some time. Going on 6 years now. But by posting there you'll at least know you've done all you can from your end.

There are many other Proboards forums out there to choose from. You can browse by category or do a search for the type you're looking for. You can see the list here.

I thought I was either imagining seeing a guest post section or my device was glitchy as when I tried to check it out, I could no longer find it.😀
