Adding a new Administrator

Hi all

We sadly lost an administrator a short time ago and want to appoint a regular forum member to replace this person. I've read through everything and played around with the admin features but can't find out how to appoint this member to an admin role. Can anyone steer me in the right direction please?

Hi Graham.

Sorry to hear about the loss to your community.

It sounds like you are trying to add a member to the administrator group. To do this, click into that member's profile, and then click the groups tab. This should show you a list of the groups on your forum, with an option to add or remove that member to the group.

Thanks Craig, I followed your instructions, and added the person as an admin but his name doesn't appear on the admin list nor does Admin appear under his avatar
