How come the posts that I make in the game board don't count toward my post count?

Post counts are disabled on certain boards whose nature require frequent posting (The Game Board, Advertise Your Forum, Affiliate Exchange). This helps us maintain an authentic atmosphere and prevents the possibility of any artificially inflated numbers.

Is a certain post count required before one can start a new topic (game) on the Game Board ? or is there some other requirement for starting threads there ?

Edit: this is what I see on the Game Board ...

You can reply to threads.
You cannot create polls.
