Full page ads

I don't have enough info for a report an ad for. Did anyone else see a full page ad before on pb!

Can you elaborate a little more on the ad taking up the full page? Did it cover your entire forum? Did it start out small and enlarge? Did something else happen? Do you remember what the ad looked like?

I think it was a boat. And it was like a picture frame. A giant one. All around.

I *think* I get what you are saying and I think I saw that once before, but it transformed into a tiny ad before I could take a screenshot. I had a travel ad that made a border around all four sides of my forum and before I could take a screenshot, all four sides all fell into the bottom ad if that makes any sense. If you see it again, that's definitely an invasive ad. Try to get a picture, as will I if I see it again, and then proceed to the Report an Ad board.

Same sort of ad has been reported by a member of my forum. This is what he posted about it:

"That new type of ad was back. It required dismissing the ad to see post reply.

I think same one tried to appear on the sides."

Was it this company? If yes, I already reported two variations of this ad. In this instance, it only covered posts, but didn't form a border around my forum.

I don't know if that's the ad a member of my forum saw, I didn't see it myself.

I've grabbed your image, included it in a post of mine & asked him if that's the one he'd seen. I'll report back if he replies.

I know this thread is a month old at this point. If it's a necro-post, feel free to scold me privately. However, I wanted to share this with everyone who was concerned about the full-page ad that shape shifts and is almost impossible to get a screenshot of. I got a picture of one variation of this finally. They all start off as a border around the entire page and then minimize into the bottom ad. I didn't get a picture of the Caribbean Cruise one, but I got a picture of the "Star of the Sea" one. This is what it looks like. The red box is not part of my forum. I censored private information that you don't need. I also reported the ad. I know it's very quick and almost impossible to screenshot, but I finally was able to report one. Depending on your OS, you're going to have to press print screen VERY QUICKLY.

I'm impressed with your persistence & determination in pursuing the oversized ad problem. And I'm not easily impressed.

Haven't had any more reports of that type of ad appearing in my forum. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they haven't shown up, could be those just haven't been reported to me.
