Mini profile background missing from theme

hello peekaboo here... I am here on Tix Mascot behalf. I have been making several themes and I noticed some of the mini background plugin code is broken up on two themes. Heretix theme was an old background, all I did was dress it up to make it more presentable... ( all of the sudden) ( the mini profile background stops working) and Green for you THEME, the mini profile background only works for some, while others are missing the bottom half of the MBP. There are some other plugins that are not working, but let's focus on the Mini profile background. I took my MBP down thinking I thought it was my background, I wasn't sure, so when I took it off, that was not the case.
I changed the banner last night. All I did was go to the colors and theme changer ( GREEN FOR YOU THEME ) to change the banner position and the mini profile stopped working. The same thing happened in the Heretix theme as well but only some of the MBP works for some and some as I mentioned above ... it only shows the bottom half of their MBP

Not to my knowledge, I only make themes, that's it.
Tix Mascot may have the answers to that. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Hopefully when Tix Mascot gets this message he can give you more input to your question.

peekabooicu - themes are basically css and html template changes, which is why I asked.

are you asking me if the theme is a premade theme before I changed it or are you asking me if I added anything to the layout Templates, if yes, No, I have not added anything to the layout template.
....just want to make sure that is what you are asking me ?

The green for you theme was from scratch......... the heretix theme was already made before I changed the theme around, it was an old theme they had already made before I changed its colors a while back. THE MBP stopped working I believe when I made the Green for you THEME if I am not mistaken. that is when Tix Mascot made a thread here to get some help.
I also had the plugin code on my forum and it does not work at all. I used the plugin three times on and off and just gave up on it.

If that is not what you are asking... please understand I am wet behind the ears a wee bit... SO please clarify with me that I am understanding you.

No worries. Generally (but not always) if something just stops working it's due to a change in a layout template or some code in a header/footer, or style sheet (CSS). I was just trying to get a better picture of recent changes to make it easier to zero in on the cause.

Do you think if I disabled it would that help the MBP on the GREEN for you THEME or Perhaps delete the Heretix theme which has been a problem for some time now... all together. We have talked about that and perhaps we could just make another theme , not that we need it.

Looking at the admin's account the plugin works for the Green for you theme. You said earlier it worked for some but not others, do you know the username of a member using the Green for you theme where the plugin is not working?

Scott, in the case of Green for you, the answer is 'no'.

In the case of Heretix, I did two things: 1 - copied some tamplates across to our new default Denim indigo theme, to preserve some customisation I had previously made to the forum layout and 2 - copied the entire Heretix theme to a new theme that I called Tix test and intend to use only as a storage area for old features if Heretix is being amended or deleted. But if that's where the problem lies, you can just remove it, since it's not that important.

What worries me more, is that peekabooicu is unable to get the MPBG plugin to function on her forum.

peekabooicu - the Mini-Profile layout template for that theme was missing the code for custom profile fields. The plugin relies on that code to work.

That may be the reason why it is not working on mine.
I reinstalled the plugin on mine, maybe you can work your magic.
