Old domain still in use after purchasing a custom domain

Hello, I purchased a custom domain and my original domain is still being displayed and won't redirect to the new domain

Hi

The old - or rather original - domain will still continue to work and will not automatically redirect to the custom domain. There are a number of reasons for this, such as should the custom domain expire, or have issues, you can still access the forum.

You can, however, use a couple of options to force people on to the custom domain.

- Firstly, in the custom domain settings, you should find an option to redirect usersvon to the custom domain when they login.

- Secondly, you can utilise the Censored Words List to change the original domain to the custom domain. Add an entry to convert your original domain to your custom domain. This will change all the links in posts and signatures to your custom domain.
