Create publication

Hello!

How can I create a "publication" where admins and moderators can publish things? Like news, information and more.

Should you create a category & board or can you make one any other way?

Hi. You should be able to create a Category/Board that only allows Staff to post in. You can find this inside the Category/Boards area. When you create a new board click "Permissons" at the top of the pop-up and you'll be able to select the permissions you would like to have for that Board.

Categories, boards, and threads would probably be your best bet. It is the primary method of publishing content in an orderly fashion on a forum, after all.

Or you could utilize custom pages. But if you want mods and other authorized users to be able to publish articles(?) individually without editorial intervention it's probably not the best option.

Really though, it depends on what you mean by creating a "publication."
