Close a thread

I am trying to figure out how to close a thread.



I know how to delete a thread.



But I am trying to leave the thread up but close off any further discussion.



Is there some way of doing this?

Locking a thread from further discussion is a staff function. From within the thread, click on the Actions dropdown and select Moderate > Lock. (Or from the thread list, tick the box next to the thread title and then click on the Actions dropdown and select Moderate > Lock.) Repeat the action to unlock a thread.
