Forum URL: purplepainforums.comThis just started happening today, but whenever I try to click Home, Profile, Messages, another page within a thread, or basically any of the tabs up top, it acts as if I'm selecting a post - giving me the option to select, report, or delete a post. Weird. The bottom tabs work fine as far as selecting another page, but everything up top is jacked up. I also signed out, and the page buttons worked fine. I signed back in, and I got the same issue. It doesn't do it on desktop either. Everything appears to be fine. It's just when I'm signed in and using the mobile version.

I'll also add that things behave normally ... unless I'm viewing a thread. Once I click into a thread, it goes crazy.

Funkytown - I tested on you forum and a couple others using Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. All were fine.
On your current browser, can you clear your cache?Wait. I didn't test from within a thread. Let me do that now.

Funkytown - not seeing any thing abnormal when viewing a thread. Please clear your browser's cache and see if that makes a difference.

Funkytown - not seeing any thing abnormal when viewing a thread. Please clear your browser's cache and see if that makes a difference. I did that earlier, and it didn't help. I'll try again to make sure I did it correctly. This is all on Google Chrome, by the way. Brave seems to be fine.

Funkytown - I did test with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari with no issue. Though I am on iOS.

Funkytown - not seeing any thing abnormal when viewing a thread. Please clear your browser's cache and see if that makes a difference. Still the same issue. Very odd. No idea what I could've done to cause this. But it definitely seems like a "me" issue. As I said, it behaves normally unless I'm within a thread. And it's all Proboard sites I frequent, including this one. In a thread, it goes wacky. Guess I'll just have to navigate around it until I figure it out. Thanks!

Funkytown - I recall some time back another member had an issue that was specific to them and a specific browser. They ultimately decided to delete the browser and reinstall - and that solved the issue. I can't say for sure this would work for you, but is an option if you want to try it.

I have a member on my forum saying this today
“ Is anyone having a problem with this site using Google Chrome on their phone? Was working fine but about half an hour ago it started playing up and I keep getting a pop up screen coming up every time i try to do anything. it has Deselect Post (grayed out), Report post and back to top that you can select. Wont let me do anything. I am typing this via my laptop using Microsoft Edge and no issues. Any advice please?”
Same thing?

burlybear (& Funkytown) - Possibly a recent Chrome update? I assume this is Android not iOS?

Hmmm. My phone has Android 13. It has Chrome 130.x. X replaces the long string of numbers. I cannot replicate this on my phone. I don't know if we have to consider location. I'm in the USA if that matters.
