Polls With Scheduled Closings

If I schedule a poll to close at 23:30 on November 30th, is that based on my time zone only? Will everyone have until 23:30 their time on November 30th, or will they see an earlier or later expiration date/time depending on their location?

To the best of my knowledge I believe it's based on the time zone of the person creating the poll. They should see an adjusted date based on their location (time zone).

I don't know if my contribution can be of any help but I just checked the poll just now and on my end it says:

"This poll expires on Nov 17, 2024 at 1:00PM."

Assuming you're 2 hours behind me in the USA, then that would mean everyone sees a different time based on when the poll creator set it to close, and each person's individual time zone.

This is what I would want. For example, no one should have a poll expire 12 hours early, or have an extra 12 hours to vote.

I can't see the poll closing date because I can't access the thread that the poll is in - I get an access error. Otherwise, I could've checked to see what the date/time was for me.

Sorry about that, I was trying to put the poll in an inconspicuous location since it was for testing. I forgot not everyone has access to that board.
