Add Attachment Icon Not Showing Up for Forum Hosted Images

I've recently purchased the upgrade for Forum Image Hosting and I have one member that is using an iPad that cannot get the "Add Attachment" box to show up in the R/H corner so he can post images from his iPad directly into the forum.

Here's a screen shot of his screen that doesn't have the "Add Attachment" box in the upper right hand corner. All other members are able to use this function except this one fella.

A couple things to note.

Not that it particularly matters, but that's not an iPad, it's an HP laptop running Windows.

What does matter is that the user in question is in his personal messages in that pic. You can't add attachments to personal messages, only forum posts. The forum staff are responsible for moderating attachments and thus need to be able to see them "publicly."

Right on Derek and I should've caught that with the whole laptop gig. You right on count two with it being in PM's as I know that already too. 

Looks like I'm two for two today bud.

Just for the context:

We don't allow attachments in PM because then you could fill up attachments without the admin being able to access or delete them. Alternatively if admins could see those attachments they would basically be public.

Makes total sense and thank you for taking the time to fill me in on that Michael. 

The member did send me a photo of his iPad and he doesn't have the Add Attachment icon on that page. He did also say that the laptop responds the same way as the iPad example below out in the mainstream forum. I've gotta say, I haven't run across this one yet.

Check your permissions for attachments in Admin > Settings > Manage Attachments.

I have a hunch that you might have it set to require a minimum post rank that the user hasn't yet attained. Or some other member group requirement that the user is not meeting.

I don't see anything there that would cause the issue on the screen below Derek. I do appreciate you sticking with this.

Seems like to me I've run into this post limitation / rank issue before but it's been a while and I can't find it right now but I'll be looking for it.

I see that you have the "disable attachments by board" plug-in installed. You've disabled attachments in the following boards:

General Conversations

In the Shop

On the Road

Introduce yourself...

In the iPad screenshot the user is attempting to post in the last board listed.

I believe that did it Derek. Funny how little things like this pop up along the way. I inherited this forum from another member so I'm finding stuff like this all the time now. I am however.....learning along the way. I really appreciate your help with this potna.
