Prevent Member from changing Password

Hello, everyone

I have created an account to be used by all my students in a certain class.

I need to disable the ability of this account to change password.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately, you can not remove the ability to change the password.

More importantly, however, an account should not be shared by more than one person. This is stated in the terms of service.

Would each student having their own account not be an option for you? If it isn't, and to explore options, could we ask how your forum is being used. For example, do you post class notes that you need your students to see, or do your students ask you questions on the forum.  Are they just logging in to the account to view the content?
