Oh sorry, I misread what you meant then. I thought you were wanting certain links you posted to be different than the default assigned by the theme of the forum; which is different than wanting to change the style of the links on your forum on a whole.
The place Night directed to is what you want. The 'Links' and 'Visited Links' underneath the 'Forum' section on the top left of the pop up don't actually change anything though in my experience, as they're overridden by the 'Links' option underneath the 'Container' section (right side). So if you want to change the link colors make sure you change it there.

Hullo Betty, To change the font style or coloring of a link from the default of a board you'd just put the styling inside of the link element: So it'd look like this: Test. You can change anything highlighted in green above.

I don't think a cinematic or visual medium would shortchange the story at all. The value of doing video is that you can tell a lot of story without saying anything at all. The best stories in video are ones that don't excessively tell you what's going on... unlike an abundance of movies nowadays. The key to visuals is Show Don't Tell.
It's just a matter of completely rethinking how you're going to tell the story is all; not what you're telling.

Try putting this code just above the '<div class="board-name">...' line in the Layout Template:
{if $[board.posts] > 0} <div class="board-lastpost-ava"> <a href="$[board.last_thread.last_post.created_by.link.href]"> $[board.last_thread.last_post.created_by.avatar_medium] </a> </div> {else} <div class="board-lastpost-ava"> <img src="http://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/defaultavatar.png"> </div> {/if}
And then add this line to the CSS:
.board-lastpost-ava { float:left; }
That should put it to the left of the Board name & Last Post info. Let me know if you were trying to do something else :3
Also you can change the image of the 'defaultavatar' link to whatever you use for the default ava on your forum theme.

I love seafood!
But a summer-only kinda dish I'd usually make/get is a homemade potato salad. Doubly handy since it doesn't heat up the house on those super warm days. Some BBQ with mum's potato salad recipe and some corn on the cob is perfect for summer!

I'm not working right now, but in my previous job almost every day was a slow day 'cept Mondays. Though this was mostly due to me making my work flow so efficient I didn't need to attend to it very often haha. I spent a lot of my times on forums and chatting with people while waiting for more customers to contact me or my boss to swing by with an extra task ^^;

When it's just a little bit of a block that's more caused by laziness or something music helps really set the mood and get in the groove to write a particular scene or with a certain character. However... if it's anymore than that I find the best way to combat [my] writers block is to just take a breath and do something else for a time. Something enjoyable that makes me feel good, like a video game or coding or designing. Then it distracts from the frustration and negative feels of the writers block. It's kinda like when doing an art piece and you should step away at some point, not look at it for a few days, then come back and suddenly you spot all of the things wrong with it and know how to fix it.

I'm probably a bit biased cause I really enjoy solving puzzles and play a lot of video games... so I voted for an interactive game. But! This could be an interesting short story though. A full on novel might be stretching out the 3 days thing a bit too much, but I guess it all depends on exactly how detailed and verbose you are. Novels and Videos are a little less forgiving when it comes to making something good and enjoyable. Though it seems like Night Mind might be able to help out in the video department

It looks like the link color is already purple for both FF & Chrome on my end: Unless I'm misinterpreting what links you are wanting to make purple. Attachments:

That is certainly possible doing something like this in the Layout Templates:
It's just a matter of where you want this to appear on your forum. I think by default it shoes by the 'Login/Register' area but I see you have custom coding that has removed that (at least for guests).
If you want it back in front of the 'Login/Register' section of the nav bar you could go to Layout Templates -> Forum Wrapper, and find the line <p id="welcome">, then add in the text you want -- following the guideline of the code above.
