ok, so i will get a copy of my forum, then see if i like it. if i do, my forum will be changed to it, or do i get 2 forums? sorry for all the questions, im being stupid It's okay For that particular beta process in the future, the v5 copy of your forum will be temporary. It's just an area for you and your members to check it out and prepare for the final launch of v5. Once v5 is released, all forums will be gradually updated to v5, and the temporary beta forum you have will be removed sometime after the release. It can sound a bit confusing now, mainly because there currently isn't a set date for when everything is going to happen, and v5 is still being developed. But as soon as the release comes closer and we have a time set, things will be made a lot more clear then just signed up for v5 beta. will this change my fourm yet? No, again, the current beta is only a copy of this support forum. Your forum own't be affected

Correct, it gives you the chance to test v5 before it's out And v5 will be a lot more customization, in terms of on / off settings for standard features, as well as a lot easier for coders to make new codes for things that don't currently exist. v5 has a like button. If you've signed up for the current beta, once you've been accepted you'll be given access to an area on this support forum which is exclusive for v5 beta testers, and there's a lot of questions and answers there about what to expect for features and options

Correct, that would be why you see many people with the beta tester custom title. Your account will be updated to show that as well once you've been accepted. And in the v5 area that will be open to you when you are accepted, there is also a request area there as well for you to let us know what you'd like to see in it

Everyone that signs up on the www.proboards.com/beta page gets put on a waiting list and will be accepted at random hourly. Once you've been accepted, you'll get the email about v5 and you'll then have access to that area. So it'll require a little bit of a wait, but you'll be notified when it happens

When you get accepted, you'll be given instructions on how to access the v5 copy of this support forum, correct
