I can't recreate this.. If I type TITLE in the visual side of the post editor and click BBCode, I get TITLE there too. What version of the plugin are you using?

Sorry, I already deleted the plugin. Must have been an older version.

Todge , thank you for the wonderful plug-in. Though I have a small 'layout' issue. As you can see the drop-down button doesn't really fit the lay-out and there is a space between 'select smileys' and 'view all'. I don't know enough css to get both buttons next to each other and right under the 'enable/disable smileys' button? And if possible, to even remove the 'select tab' so there is only the 'view all' button? Also, when hovering over the emoticons, they seem to move? And is there a way to make the button to enable/disable emoticons smaller? Thanks!!

Hi stronktank, The space between the 'Select Smiley' dropdown and the 'View All' button is there to display the smiley you choose from the dropdown. It is easily removed, but in doing so you render the dropdown useless as they'd be no way to post the smiley you have selected, so you'd need to remove that too.. Put this in the CSS box within the smiley settings.. .smMiddle, .smTop { display: none; } You can use the CSS box to change the size of the Disable Smiley button too.. Add this and change the number to one that suits you.. .no-smiles { font-size: 10px; } As for the emoticons moving when you hover over them, I have no idea. Does this happen to the smilies in the pop-up?

Hello,
Firstly, I love this plugin! Thanks so much for taking the time to make it and support it!
Secondly, I'm not sure if this has already been posted/you've had to answer this before, but I have actualy GIFs that I'm using as smilies for this. Would it be possible to get those GIFs that show up when you click, "View All Smilies," to show up in the normal dropdown box?
Thanks so much!

The plugin should work fine with GIFs..
You say they are not appearing in the dropdown box.. Do they appear in the pop-up?

The plugin should work fine with GIFs.. You say they are not appearing in the dropdown box.. Do they appear in the pop-up? Yeah, they only appear in the pop-up. Maybe I have a wrong setting in the CSS style? Here's what I have in it: .smTop, .smMiddle {
display: none;
}
.showsmilies
{
}
.smTable
{
}
.smTitle
{
}
.smGroup
{
}
.smCell
{
} I recently add the .smTop, .smMiddle code to see if it would fix the problem, but it didn't haha. Here's my site if that helps any: www.clarksoncrisis.proboards.com

} Will remove the part of the dropdown that displays the smilies fir you to click on, so you will need to remove that. Also, could you open a part of your forum so guests can post please? I will need to see the posting page in order to try and find any problems. Thank you.

Forum URL: seasons.boards.net/Hi! I have been using the Smilie Dropdown plugin Version 2.1.4 for quite some time with great satisfaction. But one question puzzles me. I notice, in Quick Reply, that accessing the smileys is different in certain threads. In general, they are accessed by clicking on the "smiley face" (BBCode button), and then clicking on "View all smilies" in the drop down window that's produced. In some other threads, the smiley face BBCode button does not have this message in the drop-down window. Instead, the message appears out to the right-hand side in QR, independently of the button. I'm not sure why this happens i.e why there is a variation in what happens in certain threads. Maybe someone can explain. Many thanks in advance. Hi, Todge!

TodgeUnfortunately the file names a proving very difficult for me, so I was wondering how I could remove the "dropdown" part but still keep the "View All" option. Thank you for this plugin though!

The option to add your smilies to Chris's UBBCode wasn't added until version 2.1.5, before that the code would look for WYSIWYG editor to decide where to put the smilies, so, in your threads, whether or not the smilies are added to Eton's UBBCode would depend on whether that plugin has loaded before this one has. Updating the code to version 2.1.5 or above should fix that issue.

Hey-ya.. To remove the dropdown and preview parts, add this to the CSS box within the plugin settings.. .smTop, .smMiddle {
display: none;
}
