There has been some bad blood between our proboard and a board on another service. I suspect that a possible complaint could have come from that other forum.
Could you be specific on the TOS violation? If a member posts something inappropriate, would/should that cause the entire board to be deleted? I can assure you that 99.9% of our members are completely within the rules of the TOS, so this makes no sense. Please explain.

I just read the TOS and there is NOTHING in there that applies to our board. I'm afraid you have made a mistake. Our board is in english and allows your ads to be seen. There is no promotion of anything illegal or inappropriate. About the closest I can think we could have come to a violation is some art a user may have posted showing Kim Possible in a bikini. And, under your rules, that is clearly NOT a violation. So, as far as I can tell, you have made a grave error. Please correct this at once and restore our board. Thank you.

Reasons for violations are not given out as policy.
Forums are only deleted if the admin has complience with the violation. Such as the forum being in another language, having a downloads section etc.
If it is just the actions of a member and the admin hasnt seen it yet, the admin just gets told to delete the content, the forum doesnt get removed

Ok, I've been a member of this forum for almost a year and I can verify that nothing on that board violates your TOS. So, you have made an error. Can you please revisit this decision? 2 of our MODS have been awol for a month, but I can get hold of a 3rd one via email. If there is a specific issue that needs to be resolved, please contact me and I will have her correct it. There is absolutely NO intent here to circumvent your TOS and I'm sure this is a misunderstanding.

We didn't have one, but the fact that you mention that as a possible reason to delete a forum makes me think that maybe you don't even know what's in your TOS. Have you read your TOS lately? Maybe you should. This looks like a "knee-jerk" reaction to an invalid complaint. proboards.com/tos.html

Downloads for things such as films, CD's, TV episodes, games etc are all illegal due to copyright violation. Therefore despite not being explicitly listed, do fall under the TOS. We arnt going to include a copy of every single law in the TOS, its pointless.

Ok, so if you tried to contact one of our mods (who has been having trouble with email) and they couldn't respond to an issue, don't you think you should at least give another mod a chance to correct any violation? I can get you the email of a MOD who can make changes to the site.
I can't believe this. Its a freakin kids cartoon fan forum. What in gods name could be illegal about it? Unfreakin real. And the support team is being completely stonewall about it. Can you sense some frustration here?

All communication between ProBoards and forums with respect to violations, are taken through the main admin, as they are the individuals who agreed to the TOS when creating the forum. The responsibilty lays with them, and them only. Any staff they appoint are just extensions of the admin and their faliure to maintain order falls back to the admin who appointed them
