United starting off ok but as I always say at the start of the season, early days yet and a long way to go. Our son is a Liverpool supporter (EPL) and a Hearts of Midlothian supporter (SPL) so when Liverpool beat Arsenal 4-3 at the Emirates he was all cock a hoop, he has gone all quiet at the moment after Burnley brought them crashing back down to earth beating them 2-0 lol.

Tough draw for BHA yesterday, played crap by all accounts but we never seem to do well when we play Reading so to stay unbeaten is a good result...next up, the Geordies.

I reckon you're playing us at a good time, not that I'd like to call how the game is going to go but we're still yet to hit the sweet spot of chemistry that enables you to go through a run of tough games. Will be game of the season so far!

Sadly it's not like the Premier League where foreign channels carry every game meaning there's always a stream.

David Moyes is getting a hammering from the media losing against Middlesbrough in the derby match, playing players in their wrong position but I could have warned Sunderland about him if they had asked, he never lasted long at United and got the boot. I think the black cats will finally go down this year to the Championship, Moyes will get the boot again and try his luck somewhere else.

Watched the Sunderland - Boro game today. Boro were a joy to watch in the first half but a bit sqeeky bum time in the last quarter. If they can figure out a way to stay on top and withstand pressure once they're in the lead I can see them doing well this season. Definitely want them to stay up. Two fantastic goals from them this afternoon. Sunderland's defensive crisis really came to the fore today, and it's only going to get worse if Kone actually leaves or O'Shea is missing longterm. Hope we take their position in the league next season and they stay down for many years. But I'm not biased at all.

No, I do hope they go down with Moyes at the helm and then he gets the boot and it serves the owners right as they have had that many managers over the years and then sacking them. Big Sam done the right thing and got out and took the England job otherwise, he would have just made them a mid-table side and then they would have sacked him as they wanted more.

Not sure why you don't like Moyes. Did he spit at the fans or something before he left? He was essentially used as a scapegoat at Old Trafford, and wasn't given a fair crack of the whip to build anything. Ferguson left a relatively terrible, ageing, side, which was always going to take a time to rebuild, and he wasn't afforded that opportunity. Was happy with the draw today, although disappointed with the disallowed goal. Need our forwards to find a bit of form [ and the goal ], though. Murphy having two goals incorrectly rules offside in a week doesn't help. And careful with the talk about streaming guys. I know you are talking about legal sources at the moment, but don't go down the route of discussing the illegal sources and streams.

I know you are talking about legal sources at the moment, but don't go down the route of discussing the illegal sources and streams. I was one of many (United supporters) Craig that when SAF chose Moyes as his successor scratched our heads and thought "Why Moyes?" he never really won anything at Everton but we all accepted it and was prepared to see how he got on but he landed at OT with his feet on the ground running instead of just taking his time at United and bring his own ideas in gradually and he was a disaster and had to go. I agree with you that SAF had an ageing squad when Moyes took over but Moyes ripped the heart out of United from day one with his own ideas and pushed all of what SAF had achieved over the years into the back burner and upset a lot of the old timers at OT likes Rio, Vidic, Scholes, Neville etc and changed the way United had played over the years and the success we had. You could class it the same as if he had taken over the likes of Barca, Real Madrid or Juve with the success they had and started from scratch, he would not have lasted there either, but that's another story and we move on and I don't think he will last at Sunderland either. Don't worry about the streaming bit with me as I am a Moderator on another ProBoard United forum and streaming is a big taboo there also. I hope your Ipswich get back into the EPL with the big boys again and do well for the sake of the great Sir Bobby Robson who was a legend at Ipswich and achieved a lot. When he left for the England job Ipswich were never the same, you could say a bit like SAF when he retired and a certain Moyes took over United and United were not the same team under Moyes, cough, cough. I am glad we have a good old football thread in here, friendly banter about our teams and we all have our own opinions in a friendly way. Edit: Just to add Craig, José Mourinho who has taken over at United was a translator for Sir Bobby Robson at Sporting CP, Porto and Barcelona and that's why José was a big success as a manager and still is nowadays, he learnt from the great Sir Bobby Robson.
