I'm sure you know "stupid towelhead" is an offensive term to some people. A bit strange how in a thread centred around showing respect for the American flag you feel it's appropriate to show that sort of disrespect towards others.

Because it is sacred. I am a patriot and I love that flag and what it stands for. Do you feel this for the UN flag ?

The flag is the symbol of our government and our country and to me burning it states that you do not wish to be a part of this country......if you feel so strong against being a part of this country then you should ship out and go live somewhere else.,...as long as you live here....you should support it....plain and simple.

You don't give any respect to anyone in the first place; you never have done. Probably 90% of your posts here at PB Support have been offensive towards a person or a group of people, and yet here you are arguing that the flag of your country deserves respect? Never mind the flag, what sort of representation of your country are you giving? Certainly not one that warrants respect, as far as I've seen from your posts here over the past few years.

EDIT: The flag is much different. It's not your flag, it's America's flag. If you don't like what America stands for, I suggest you get a new flag of your own instead of burning ours.

Actually I wouldn't care a bit if you bought a house then burned it as long as you aren't endangering anyone else. A house does not symbolize a country. Really though on the subject I am kind of torn I don't want people burning the flag but I don't want another freedom taken away.

No you're endangering lives. Firefighters like me would have tgo rush in and try to save it. It's ussually the "Weeee let's do this for fun" ones where one of us gets hurt.

I find those americans who burned the united nations flag offensive.just as i would find anyone who burned the american flag offensive.I do not condone how the protested against the united nations.That is just totally disrepectful.

I think it was your right....just because I dont agree with it doesn't mean I dont repect it, I am a firm beleive in chioce and the freedom of choice.....like I said ...the flag means differnet things to different people...I fought for my country not for the flag....and if anouther person even an american burned the flag, I would be more concerned with "why" then the flag.....this is my point...when a goverment doesn't listen and sees only what it wants, no matter how it is spinned there is something wrong.

And I think it's extremely low for Pats Freak to be using terms considered racist rather than sticking to acceptable forms of debate. It isn't something I like to see at ProBoards, and it isn't something that I think should be tolerated here. It's not even like it's a one-off on his part either.
