If my members put the forum name into google , then click on it they can access no problem , it seems to be they are experiencing these problems when going from their favorites .

We had a problem on Tuesday with quite a few members not being about to access the board (http://peaceful-parlor-talk.proboards.com/index.cgi). The same night the posts in a fast moving thread were posting out of order and it was very disorienting.
All this was in addition to a month-long problem that we have been having where posts disappear after hitting Quick Reply or Reply. We have tried removing all codes and adding them back one by one but we can't find the problem.
This is a response from one of our members who couldn’t access the board:
1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. When I tried to get into the site, the log-in page kept constantly refreshing itself. I couldn't type in my name and password.
2) What browser are you using? IE
3) What version number is it? 7.0.5730.11; I use IE8 at work and had the flashing when I tried to log in from there, too.
4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? Yes, AVG 8.0.238 Free at home and McAfee at work
5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? My bookmark didn't work and I already deleted the bookmarks at home and work. I typed in the addy manually and then it worked, I bookmarked that. Sorry

I don't know if it matters but when i type in the adress sanantoniosatan.proboards53.com it changed itself to sanantoniosatan.proboards.com/index, why would it remove the server number? 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1.L sanantoniosatan.proboards53.com5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? sanantoniosatan.proboards.com5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. I personally am not having an issue but here is what was passed on to me by some of my members: 1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. The page keeps reloading/refreshing when they try to log-in or post.2) What browser are you using? From what I've heard, all of them are using some version of Internet Explorer.3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 Unknown.4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? Unknown but most likely some anti-virus software.5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? If so: 5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1. 5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)? 5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way? N/A.My forum is in my signature.

1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is. The homepage is constantly refreshing, making it impossible to navigate anywhere on the site.2) What browser are you using? Windows Internet Explorer3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372 7.0.6001.180004) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number? Norton 360 Symantec v. 2.5.0.55) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark? I was, and that was when I first started having these issues just the other day. Today I went to the site again and clicked the "stop" button next to the "refresh" button on the browser and the problem stopped. I was able to navigate around the site, make posts, and even refresh the homepage without having any issues. When I typed the site in manually, I also did not have any issues. However, when I clicked the button on my favorites, the refreshing started all over again. I have since deleted the bookmark and am afraid to add it again until the problem is dealt with. I do not yet know if any other users have been having the same problems on my site, but am currently doing research into the matter.act1allstars.proboards.com
