If it is fine without that code in, i would remove the code and use a different one. I would fathom that IE has simply updated and become more fussy about coding errors.

Me again... I'm getting a fair few members saying they cannot post on the board, read it fine but it closes off when they try to post. As I said before a windows update definitely prevented me from being able to post - I did a system restore before the update and all was fine. But now I'm getting others saying similar. It was mentioned the smiley code could be an issue, but it's been on there a few years with no problems and not causing me or a few others any, can someone please have a look if there may be a fault somewhere.
