Okay here we go. I'm at home and I want to go to bed. I also do not have a recording program, nor am I going to bother to install one simply to win this vote. I am not going to spend the time you have to do this. I showed how you can edit text on a page so instead I will break down your video you just posted. I encourage anyone to visit youtube and watch videos about firebug and editing web pages.

THIS IS HOW I WOULD FAKE BAGHEERAS VIDEO

I'll give you the simple form first.

RECORD
Load a page in the brower.
CLICK A LINK
Wait for page to load.
OPEN FIREBUG
Make Changes
CLOSE FIREBUG
Move mouse around to show focus.
CLICK AWAY TO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Lather, rinse repeat on every page you want to change.

Afterward you will have a long video with you making changes. Cut the bold part of my sequence out. Oh snap pages loading with no changes and whatever you want them to say!

Do the same thing for installing chrome and then adding firebug. Assuming you didn't just install a duplicate chrome and had an original already with firebug.

Next once your video is nearly complete make a real post in the thread and claim you're going to make a video.

Press Record, show that post. Modify your post for a timestamp to impress people.

Press stop.

Take the scene you just filmed put it at the beginning of your movie!

Dub your voice mumbling like you are concentrating over the whole thing, it works best if you describe what you are doing and act really annoyed.

If you're really clever make sure you kept track of the time on your computer. Wouldn't want skips. Best way to handle that is to change your computer time when planing the video and record the clock. Place this in the corner of your fake video. Make sure you plan on posting at a reasonable time later on. You'll only have a 60 second window to line this up right.

Save the video.

Upload to youtube.

Post it in the thread.

Done!


Goodnight everyone. I hope this has been enlightening.

Modify : P.S. Bagheera uses a Mac which comes with video recording software and iLife a video editing program. She didn't even need to go out of her way to produce the videos. Also she claims to not have known about firebug. Which is acceptable since the same effect can be achieved with JavaScript and there are other programs and browsers with editing capability. Although she openly admits firebug is installed "now".

I don't ask that you don't believe the videos. I only ask that if nothing else we have both shown they could be real or fake. If you discard the video as evidence from both sides then I still have a list of reasons why Bagheera is mafia and she has none why I am or any proof that she is the "detective who lived after guessing 3 mafia in a row".

This part is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. xDD I accept that I could possibly snip the video, but it would look jerky as I transitioned from one scene to another, and I wouldn't be able to seamlessly insert the clock. I did this half-asleep on the spur of the moment, clearly in one take.

I know that you have to desperately look for reasons to discredit me to stay alive at this point, but hello, unrealistic much.

I agree that we should do this, however, the Mafia clearly aren't going to switch their votes and put their vote where their mouths are, which means Nightwalker has to switch his, and he's already refused.

Anyone looking logically at this sees that it's the best thing to do numbers-wise, and that Ryan is the best one to vote out emotions-wise, because he's so good at stirring us up. That's why I'm torn between the two, but I'm still sticking with Ryan unless one of the other side switches their vote first.

All I asked everyone to do was eliminate the videos from the evidence log and examine everything else. Because without the video you have nothing. It is the only thing you have and I have already shown it to be false. So if we remove it from evidence from both sides - you don't have a video to gain confidence, I don't have evidence showing you are lying about the video (ie. making you a liar) - then we reach a new playing field. One where I still have a stack of events and behavior that shows you as a mafia, one where you have no argument since your entire claim is that you are the real detective based on your video.

People aren't going to buy into you forever and had Dove just supported what was the popular vote at the time you would be gone and we would already be killing Jetta the next day by now. It's only because of Aether's modified rules, and Dove is afraid to influence the game. I know that the one other villager over there is going to figure it out very soon.

People have seen the evidence. Only those in constant communication with you -- your Mafia friends Jetta and Syko, which I pointed out as being Mafia back on page ten, plus the fourth member and one villager -- have voted for me. I've been quite consistent about who I say are Mafia, and you've flip-flopped like a dying fish.

So yeah, I'm going to any ends to get that last villager to side with the rest of the village here. Because like it or not, I've ended up the spokesperson for them all, as well as the detective, and it's not an easy couple of roles to combine.

While I'm at it, here's more of my reasoning.

--Reduce the Mafia size to three while the village is reduced to five

In voting out Ryan, we're going to take down a major player, reduce the chance the Mafia can get a stranglehold on our emotions and use them against us again like they have in the past few days, and ensure our survival for at least one more day. I've asked the village to vote out the emotionally sound decision, because emotions are more dangerous in this game. You've stirred them to falsely lynch a villager before, and I swore to Phaelyn I wouldn't let it happen again if at all possible.

All only true under the single assumption that you are the detective. When in reality the real detective is still hidden (and not me by the way, I make no grand claims). Without that one base lie your entire argument falls on deaf ears.

She publicly revealed herself on Day 2! Without the help of the doctor or nurse she's still alive! She's that amazing!!! She dodges bullets and could probably fly if the game required it.

And you're trying to use a false dichotomy here... either this OR that.

Anyone could have guessed those three correctly: Jetta by chance, Syko by suspicion on the basis of his posts, and Ryan by overwhelming suspicion by that point.

I didn't publicly reveal myself by choice. I did it to try and save Phaelyn from being lynched.

I had the help of the nurse, clearly, which was why you and your friends decided to target an innocent villager: because you knew the nurse was going to protect me. I wouldn't have voted out me, either, under those circumstances.

The rest of your post is clear hyperbole and hype.

The detective needs to come out publicly or privately in order to win the game, at least, in this situation. I tried doing it privately. When that didn't work, I was forced to... because you kept falsely accusing Phaelyn.

Your sheer consistency of naming unverified mafia members should help you in this quest. 3 for 3 and only your word to prove it, and we will not reveal the true detective since we only know about you for sure, there are still 2 hidden mafia by our count.
