That happened to me a while ago. I think it happens if you install a lot of things at a time. Like a lot of fonts, and brushes etc. I would recommend uninstalling it and reinstalling it about a week or two later. That's what worked for me.

I have Vista too.
You said it worked before, though. Did you have any major projects or other modifications to your computer/gimp/other program that you think or believe may or may not have modified, been connected to the problem or is related to this issue?

Alright xD After the virus attack, I tried opening the GIMP program (and I asked for help here after that), then I realized the virus attack, so I decided to uninstall, then download a new installer, then installed it again. So, I tried opening it, but it's always not responding :/[/size]
