Unless someone gas a 40' ladder in their back pocket, we're not going over the wall. Unless they have a shovel in their other pocket, we're not going under the wall. And unless they have a nuclear warhead in their breast pocket, we're clearly not going through the wall.

I think our only options are to scout & search today while Patrick joins up with us. Ideally, if he scouts south for his first action, and moves to our current location for his second action, while the rest of us search nearby/rest/reinforce bus defenses and then scout north, I think we could get a lot of ground covered today. That could really help us figure out the best chance of getting out of the city.

If South looks more promising, I'm guessing the bus could make two moves like Pepper's car, bypassing the gun shop and moving on to wherever?

Adam, what do you say to moving to 33 and then scouting West today? Maybe we'll uncover something useful again.

Day 26 Recap

Derek woke the girls early. He told them to see if they could find a way through the gate. He would scout north and see if it ended. "The wall can't go on forever" He said. He drove slowly north attracting a few zombies which bounced harmlessly off the bus. He eventually came to a river and a bridge. "Ha, a river we could float right down that!" Then he saw the wall. The wall had been built across the river and wrapped around meeting the city gate on the far side of the bridge. The water was moving far to fast to swim in safely and worse where it passed under the wall it was a churning sea of white water.

He drove back and picked up the girls who had found no way through or over the wall or gate. They returned to the gun shop. Inside they found Patrick sitting in a corner. His arm wrapped in a bloody cloth. He looked sick, he looked like Phaelyn. The four helped him eat and Ren mended his wound while he told them what happened.

Adam and Pepper jumped in the car and headed west along the river. Houses here had been burned, there must have been a fire. Eventually the road turned south and they followed it to a house that hadn't been touched by the fire. They saw no signs of zombies and returned to the docks. When they arrived they found Maven and Etc playing with Axel near the boat.

The group prepared for sundown, Pepper parked her car at the foot of the dock to make it more difficult for zombies to maneuver. Everyone moved out, the sound of rushing water filling their ears as the sun dipped below the horizon.
