*Etc. was in another room when she heard Adam and Pepper talking. She took a step back to see the two as they left the house. She finished up dusting the dresser she found and beamed at her work. Walking outside she rubbed her hands together to get rid of the dust on her hands. Etc. tried to watch the pair as they made their way to Pepper's car before she couldn't any longer to start searching*

The distance between us and the gun shop is probably too far to safely walk on his own, and we're the one's who have a mobile stronghold full of ammo. The responsible thing to do would be for us to go back to the gun shop and pick him up.

PROPOSAL: one person scouts North today (I just have to know what that is with a wall around it >.<), one person scouts West to create a route between our current position and either 23 or 24, and one person searches nearby at our present location to find supplies. Then perhaps we could all move to the gun shop to pick up Pat. Perhaps we could then make the journey SW and get to the other group.

Or we could skip SW altogether and just try to make our way directly West from the gun shop. Going through the heart of the map might be more dangerous at this point, but potentially faster.

Just an idea. Thoughts?

I think the three of us need to pick one direction to scout so we have a better chance of survival if we are attacked. I think we should scout west and then go back to the gun shop to get Pat, then tomorrow we can use our two moves to move south again (back to where we are now) and then west to the new location.

Since we all have pretty good weapons and have done okay thus far, I think maybe scouting in twos is safe enough. This way, one of us can at least stay behind to gather supples.

As for where we travel, I really have no idea. We could try to meet Pat halfways at a location, then continue whatever direction we need to go in. I also think regrouping with the RP people would be a good idea, though it's not quite as important as getting to Patrick.

Wildmaven had walked into the room just as those words slipped out of Pepper's mouth. She leaned close to Pepper and looked her in the eye. "You know why," she said, her voice serious. "Let us try. We need to at least try." With Adam holding the keys to the car, there was no way Wildmaven was going anywhere.

(Sorry for my lack of posting and such, especially to Adam. I'm very sick and have been falling in and out of wakefulness constantly for the last forty eight hours. x.x I've been asleep the last six+ hours. x.x)

Pepper felt like she was about to cry, thinking about her lovely car, the pride of this entire adventur- nightmare. Right? That's what it was? ...she thought? "This had better work!" she growled, "'Cause if you're ruining my car for nothing..." The evil glint in her eye suggested that maybe Phaelyn's giving her a chainsaw might not have been such a smart move when it could dispatch humans as well as zombies. Of course, she did seem to have gone a little bit more insane even after she was given the chainsaw.

I'm going to go ahead and move to the gun shop to pick up Pat. If he doesn't post or move tomorrow, he's getting abandoned.

Day 28 Recap

After a quick scouting mission Ren and Derek jumped in the bus and headed back to get Patrick. Unfortunately along the way they were attacked by dozens of zombies. The neighborhood was full. Derek tried plowing through them but they pounded and attacked the bus. By the time they reached the gun shop and Patrick the sun was already below the horizon. No time to make the return trip to Phaelyn.

Bus is now at 22/70 defense.

We need to go find and heal Crow or Phaelyn. Or do you think we could find another medkit before going to find them?
