There's no halfway point we could meet up at, we'll simply have to pick Phaelyn up on our way to 24.

I'll change my actions if someone has a better plan.

[Adam]

Adam lifts the hood of the car with a nervous Pepper standing nearby.

"It's okay," said Adam, "I'm just going to look."

After a few moments he turns to the others and says, "Hmm, before we do this, we should probably get back to the boat."

Adam closes the hood and gets into the car (using the keys he still has). He turns it on, unlocks the doors, and rolls down his driver side window. "Are you lovely ladies coming, or not?" Adam smiled and winked the most genuine smile and wink any of them had ever seen from him, but it was still really bad and creepy.

Action: Attempt to locate/remove the car's fuel pump and attach it to the boat. (hopefully with everyone's help)

If the chainsaw had been a living thing with veins and bones, it's blood circulation would have been cut off and its bones would have been crushed by how tight Pepper was clutching to it. Luckily it wasn't, but it'd be no surprise if the imprint of her hand was dented into the handle. The hand that wasn't hanging onto the chainsaw was constantly clenching and unclenching into a fist. Her mind was desperately searching for an alternate solution, but she couldn't find one.

Her jaw dropped in disbelief as Adam had the nerve to drive her car. He was asking for a swift slash across the thread with a sharp, roaring chainsaw. Yes he was. She made sure to get in the passenger side seat, lying her chainsaw across her lap. She folded her arms across her chest and stared out the window, looking very much like a pouting child. "'S my car. Mine."

Pepper
-is an epic builder
-will move to 33 and then help Adam with the fuel pump stuff... if only because she wants to make sure he doesn't destroy her baby meaninglessly.
-defends west
-has her chainsaw of doom ready to kick some zombie hiney
-also has her car, the keys, the police radio, a flashlight, a super-awesome shotgun, and shotgun shells.

"I'll hold onto it," she said to Etc, who was eying her medkit. "You have so many weapons to be carrying already." Wildmaven slid into the back seat of Pepper's car and Axel jumped up into her lap. Pepper was not happy and Axel kept looking from her to Adam and back again. "Maybe you should let Pepper drive," Maven said. The wink he had given them earlier still gave her the creeps. Pulling out her Glock, she checked it and held it down by her right side, out of view. She tried to remember how many days they had been at this, but she had lost count.

*Slid into the back seat with Wildmaven and Axel. She carefully placed her weapons around her feet with her fireman's axe sitting across her lap.

While they were journeying to the docks, Etc. pulled out her Telescope to look it over for a little while before looking out the window with it.*

Do you guys think it will work? The cannibalizing the car in hopes we can get the boat to work?

*Etc. stared through the telescope for a while trying to avoid looking at Pepper who seemed really on edge*

Day 29 Recap

Patrick, Derek and Ren climbed into the bus and headed south to pick up Phaelyn. The wreckage of the gun shop growing smaller in the rear view mirror. Ren noticed a horde of zombie following the sound of the bus into the street, but they were left in the dust. They pulled up to the house where Phaelyn was and Derek Laid on the horn. Phaelyn gathered her stuff up and hopped in. They made their way west and arrived at another house. They made camp inside.

Bus at 28/70

The four were excited. they parked peppers car at the foot of the dock again creating a barrier. Adam popped the hood and they all gathered round. Using Etc's utility tool and a lot of patience they were able to remove the fuel pump without damaging it. Hopefully they could replace the one on the boat. Pepper's car was out of commission. They set up and prepared for night time.

Success! Acquired Fuel Pump. Will take both actions from a player to install successfully. Car fuel pumps on a boat motor can be dangerous (trust me I looked it up IRL).

Night 29 Recap

No zombies! (Impressive, the odds were against you)

Stronghold – (24) House 69/100

A small contingent of zombies attacked the docks just before dawn. There was a brief skirmish involving a chainsaw, a katana sword, and a very dirty robe. It would have made an excellent move. The survivors fought off the horde the dock taking minor damage.

If a person uses both of their actions to repair the pump it will succeed. Remember that only 3 people can fit in the boat. Sadly there is only enough fuel for 1 trip (and it runs on diesel, before you get ideas). PM me with questions, and major role play actions that might require me should be posted with an Ryan Roos. I will tell you if they succeed or not. Ill make an attempt to check in regularly during the day tomorrow to resolve things in real time. Work it out and good luck... you'll need it.

Well guys, if the bus can make two moves per action, we could get to location 7 today (I'm guessing the destroyed locations are being treated as non-existent now?), then on to 33 tomorrow. We don't really have any other option, as our rations are quickly dwindling. I don't like that the bus' defenses are below 50%, but hopefully it will last until we can get to 33. We do, after all, seem to be the group with the most valuable commodities.

To get to 7 would require both of today's actions being used. So we'd either have to stop short, using only one action to get to 17 and reinforcing the bus/searching, or possibly have to spend all of today reinforcing/searching, and setting out tomorrow. Either is a viable option, I just feel time sensitivity may come into play. Either way, something (possibly either time or defense) is going to be cut close.

It's the group's call.
