Outbreak! (Ended)

[Pepper]

Pepper stood, and stared. And stared. And stared some more. Then she giggled, looking at the other two. "Girl power!" Yeah, it was looking doubtful that she was ever going to recover her sanity after this whole fiasco... but having a room with a padded wall could be fun, right? And at least now they could get away from all of this creepy crawlie (in some cases with zombie halves literally crawly) town.

[Adam]

Adam yelled out in pain. He staggered on his legs for just a quick moment, just enough time to mutter, "Why?" He collapsed into the boat and let out one final gasp. Adam's smile slowly faded from his face and his body went limp as blood began dripping into the bottom of the boat.

[wildmaven]

"C'mon," Wildmaven said. "Give me a hand, then get in." She put her hands under Adam's armpits and pulled him to the back of the boat where she hoped the others would help her get the limp form back onto the dock. Axel whined next to Pepper.

*Etc. covered in engine grease just stared at Adam's body with her mouth open*

I- eh- bu- wh- *Etc. stammered as she looked up horrified at Wildmaven*


(ooc: I really don't know how to respond to that, i just walked up to my computer to say I would stay behind)

As Wildmaven lifted Adam and started moving his body Adam's eyes shot open, his wicked grin returning. He let out out a wheezing yell and swung Alex's Katana up over his head.

For a moment nobody moved. Then Wildmaven's head toppled from her body and fell into the river. Her body crumpled. Adam let out a small laugh and patted his chest. The bullet proof vest he had put on days before protecting his vital organs. Blood ran down the side of his face from the wound in his ear. He looked at Etc and Pepper to see what would happen next.

[Sorry Maven, Adam actually PM'd me the day you guys met at the Police Station about putting on the vest in anticipation of this exact thing happening. Also just so you know I random numbered all the successes for these events happening one by one. You almost successfully shot him in the head for the record. Sorry]

Wildmaven is dead.

Adam ooc: me and my character are really in shock, but i think if you ask my character to help you with your ear... i might be able to help...

-has her chainsaw of doom ready to kick some zombie hiney
-mourns the loss of her car, and the keys, but has the police radio, a flashlight, a super-awesome shotgun, and shotgun shells.

Pepper stared. And stared. And stared. And stared. And stared some more. Yeah, you get the picture. Her eyes were wide as saucers, but her mouth was perfectly straight as she started to shake. The noise coming from her could only be described as a maniacal giggle as she looked at her friend's crumpled body, the head nowhere to be found. Her mouth broke open in a wide smile with none of the warmth and all of the insanity held in her glittering teeth. "Heheheh, Adam, that was a good trick! You're good at playing dead!" she giggled some more. Even when the sound wasn't coming out, her body shook with the silent laughter. "Now, whaddya you guys say we ditch this dump?"

[Etc.]

*Etc. sat in the boat and stared at the two. speechless. a little bit later she noticed the medkit laying next to Wildmaven. She quietly reached forward and gently picked it up and held it to her chest*
wh-what have I gotten myself into?

*she hoped the other two would remember she was a healer and helpful for surviving*

Wildmaven, gotta say before you fade off to ghosty oblivion, I probably woulda been dead long ago if it weren't for you being my buddy. Thanks for that. <3 XD Of course, my character's kinda... too busy giggling to realize this and be sad, but I realize it!

Well, a couple minutes to go before the cutoff time, so I'm just going to reinforce bus defenses and search nearby since no one else in my group has spoken up or made any decisions. Hopefully we can regroup tomorrow and figure out something to do in what I now suspect may be a hopeless situation.
