<script type="text/javascript"> if(self.location != top.location) top.location = self.location; </script>
please sticky this some where, i have found the problem, as california had left a response on another thread, seems the creators of proboards got rid of a function which allows people to use re directs, or at least allow them to log in whilst re directing...
so what you need to do is go to your original address, login thru that and then add the above code into the global headers...
WHAT I AM REALLY ANNOYED ABOUT
is that i have had a lot of trouble building the site, and if if its not having to cope with too many connections, then last night i lost pages due to corruption on the part of proboards, why dont proboards warn you if they do something like this,
I thank patrick and his team for this free oppertunity to be on the net, but they must realise a lot of people put time and efforts also into the sites they do, and so take to heart anything that happens..
please if you can let us all know if anything happens in the future..
long may proboards continue...

Oh right fair enough.
However they were all yesterday, this being the first reported case today.

Unfortunately, with this you cannot win. Alot of people asked for this code to be taken out, and it was decided to do so. The reason the code was put in in the first place was for logging in across frames, not getting to a board via your own domain, so this wasn't considered at the time. It is yet decided whether this change will remain, but after 3 years, it was worth seeing if it would work again.

Oh right fair enough. However they were all yesterday, this being the first reported case today. But they were all made after the change that Craig made. It's only been "today" for two hours in some parts of the world. As with all things that some people may want and others may not, I think it would most appropriate to make it a setting in the general settings that is disabled (i.e. not commented out) by default and can be enabled, with some sort of warning there. Granted adding another option there would be a lot more work than two forward slashes...
