bluebayou, to confirm, you only get the error when attempting to login, correct? Not just from loading the homepage of the forum.

It seems to be working for me now, Patrick, but to clarify, yes, I was getting the angry bear when I was attempting to sign in with my email addy and password from the log in page.

Glad that it's working for you now. We're still putting in a couple more fixes, but the login problem should be solved.

I'm not even getting to the angry bear at this point, now it won't even let me sign-in. It keeps telling me:
We could not locate a global account with that email address. Please try again or enter a username and password for your forum account.

I've tried it several times with the same sign-in I've used for the last two years and I still cannot get in.

Might I suggest you persevere. I was having the same problems... angry bear; can't find global account etc., yesterday, now I've done exactly the same as I did and it's fine.

It required me to change my password but, it did get me in. Thanks! First look at my forum in Beta... I like it! I see a few changes I'll need to make but, nothing huge.

It asked me to do the same thing, bugme, but I just entered my current password (and confirmed it) and it was happy with that.

I think I have theh same issue, either that or I cannot find my password, trying to make a copy to V5 but stuck at password, user defaukts to admin.

Not being particularly computer literate, dare I ask, what will happen if I do nothing; will I be able to simply transfer to v5 when it's all finalised?

I've looked around my forum in Betazone and it all looks fine, except I don't really understand very much about the admin area and how to do anything really... yet!

When V5 is launched, all forums will automatically be upgraded, if you have a Betazone copy of your existing board, that is what it will look like at launch
Best thing to do is to take the time to play with things, if you get stuck, this is the place to ask, members and staff will be happy to help with particular issues.
