@christine1966, I'm afraid that that's not as straightforward as it sounds. It's trickier to add new buttons to the v5 posting page than it was on v4. I'll take a look. Feel free to keep your fingers crossed, but I advise against holding your breath. JJ, that is strange, and I see you are using IE9 too, so I can't even test any changes I make. I do have an idea that may work, and I'll try to get it done over the weekend.

Guess what, Todge, your code isn't the culprit. I just now had an aha moment and went to see. It is PROBOARDS smilies. I will go ask for help on the general board. Sorry to bother you. Your code is working perfectly!

Ok, now I DO have a request. On the plugin, there is a title up at the top with a lot of wasted space. As you can see from the following image, that would be enough for several rows of small smilies like I like to use. Can that title and space be removed? It's in the Smilies, so I would think the people would know they clicked on smilies?

I'm having problems with the plugin system on my forum, so I can't really do much right now.
Hopefully this will be sorted soon and I'll be able to take a look.

Hi Todge. I seem to be experiencing a problem others are having related to your smilie plugins. I am having a prompt that asks me if I really want to leave this page.
I am using Windows 7 and IE10.
I have currently disabled the smilie plugin. *crying hysterically*
Please let us know if there is a fix for this?

I've been waiting for you to mention this error..
It can be fixed, but unfortunately not yet. The plugin system is playing up, so until that's fixed there's not much I can do, sorry.
If you tell your members to post from the UBBC side of the posting page you will not get the pop-up message, if that helps.

I see, so this is a V5 problem. Interesting. I turned the plugin off and the problem stopped, but I will try what you said because I really miss my smilies.
Thanks, Todge.

Todge, something else is going on. When I click on a the little smilie in the UBBC plugin in Quick Reply, it shows the default small smilies. When I click on one, it shows the symbols only, not the smilies I installed. The plugin you made for me is working in Quick Reply, but the regular default smilies I swapped out are not. I'm sure it has to do with the UBBC Plugin I have there, I just don't know what exactly. Are you familiar with this problem?
Edit: Forget all that Todge. I was able to fix my problem by using Eton Bone's tips on using the UBBC button plugin, all is well. Sorry to bother you.

Hi Todge. The plugin is working, and I love it. But I was wondering if there was a way to make it work in the Private Message area?
