midnight a couple of weeks ago, I was just where you are now. I'll tell you I was NOT ready for any change. Nor was I wanting to start all over from scratch. (But it's not really from scratch.) Trying the Betazone option is like a (non permanent) teaser/spoiler to show you what will be automatically converted from your v4 site. As mentioned before, you can also tinker around with the new stuff. My members still post on our regular site while waiting for us to upgrade to the permanent v5. I'm just waiting on one code that was personally made for me in v4 to be updated as a plugin. OH and I just LOVE plugins. They are so much easier to use than old codes in v4. Just a couple of clicks and you are finished adding a feature. So many more options you can add whenever you have a few minutes. It's much quicker to do too than the old stuff. I had someone tell me all of this the day after I started and I was not too thrilled to finding out we had to change in the first place. I'm just glad in the long run. Good luck.

how do you use the plugins I go to the plugin then and then there is no pulgins there is just says add plugins..and that's it.
I hate changing it is aggervating.You learn one way finally get it the way you want and then you have to relearn it all over again.
plus the board I noticed is like ten times bigger then my orginal site and the posts are cut.I have long discriptions on mine and I noticed that it's been cut down on the new site so I have to redo all my discriptions to make it sorter so it just don't cut off in mid sentance which I find annoying.

oh also what is the deal with the"we would like you to turn off your pop up blocker off to support this site"thing it's annoying.I ant going to turn my pop up blocker off..even if this site doesn't have any I have more then this site up at a time and I don't want pop ups to kill me lol..
so was wondering why that message has been showing up.

Blocking ads is not only against the tos, but it keeps money from ProBoards. They get money from ads, to keep their service free. If you would, turn off your ad block, to increase revenue to ProBoards. |

I already know all that,but was wondering what was with the annoying"turn off your blocker to support proboards"about it just recently started doing it.
and I use a pop up blocker .I get ads all the time on my sites..until recently now I am getting this message..so don't know what that is all about.
btw do you have a working code for like banners on the top of the page where the logo would go...everyone I seen either doesn't work or keeps tellingme it was deleted?
