Try putting custom width to about 200px or 250px that should give you about where you want it if not just tweak the numbers a little bit

I have it set up on my computer to stop pop up ads no matter where I am online. Still, I have not seen this message. I wonder what the difference is? Although, I do have the ads that are always a part of the site.

Pop up ads, are messages that "pop up", thus the name. Advertisements are banners you see, at the top/bottom of each page.

On the same topic I've been playing around with the beta for a week and got things looking the way I liked but now I'm having trouble.  I upgraded my board but I'm getting an error message when I try to import my theme of "invalid theme."  My beta theme is saving to my computer as a .pbt file so not sure what the issue is.  Can anyone help me out?

Yep exactly. The original poster of this thread was saying that since they went betazone, now they keep getting a message asking for him to have his pop up ad blocker turned off. He does not want to do that. Neither would I. However, I have not had any pop ups asking for me to turn off my blocker. Then someone else came in here and said that it's against Proboard rules to have pop up ads blocked. This was news to me. Even those advertisement banners up top, you can choose to not have them if you wish.

Just need to clarify something. The message that says the following:

Please consider supporting this website by disabling your ad-blocker.
This website does not use audio ads, popups, or other annoyances. Thank you!

No where does it say pop up blocker. It says ad blocker. They are two different types.
ProBoards would never use something as horrible and annoying as a popup advertisement..

A popup ad is something that literally "pops up". Aka. it opens in a new window by itself, and then you have to click the "x" to close it.
The PB ads are exactly what you see, which is why YOU personally do not see the message the original creator sees (or saw). These ads are normal ad banners that you see.

You don't need to change anything etc, it's fine how it is.

Now that makes more sense. I didn't know you can block regular ads. However, I did know you can pay a fee to proboards to make your site ad free. That too is a huge difference.

Yeah it is. In version 5 you can get rid of the ads either for your entire forum users (including or excluding guests), or you can buy "proboards+" for your OWN global account, which would remove the ads from all PB forums for you and you alone.

Oh quick question.When our site changes over..will the url be the same?

Just wanted to ask that now.I know in the past my site used to have a 75 at the end then proboards got ride of the number and I had to tell all the people I was affiliateing with or advertising with that proboards changed the url to be without numbers.Was just wondering if it would change again with the update.

Also is there a way when you play around on the betazone to have it stay the same so when your site changes you don't have to re tinkle with it to get it the way you want? More or less me asking ifI make a change can I make it stay if I so choose to so when the board uploads I don't have to redo what I just redid.lol?Or will it just go back to the same blank page I started from on betazone?

Yes, your URL will be the same.

On BetaZone, you can export your themes in the admin area, then re-import them on your new forum. You will have to reinstall your plugins manually and set those up.
