well.. sorta. it basically means in order to have it ignore what COULD be a hex code, it literally ignores anything that fits a hex code pattern. meaning you cannot actually have #BEEFED as a tag because it could be interpreted as a hex code. there are probably many words. as well as #123456 cannot be hashtag either.

Im going to go ahead and submit what I have to the library tonight. I have it working on pagination and quick reply now as well.
cant do anything about the search server not indexing posts right away though. so just expect that.

this is an old thread so i dunno who's around to answer it ... but would it be easy to have hashtags everywhere, meaning where ever you put a hashtag it works, like in titles, shoutbox, status updates etc etc .. so anywhere and everywhere.
impossible or really complicated ?
