Forum Cut Off?

Hey Support Team,

since earlier today, my forum sometimes randomly cuts off midway through. I attached screenshots. I am using Google Chrome. It only occurs on some pages, randomly, but never fixes itself even when I refresh.

Help me out here.

Interesting. Could you clarify, you say it never fixes when you refresh?

It never fixes itself when I refresh means that the page is still cut off, no matter how many times I refresh, so it's not just a random loading issue. Some other members have the same issue, Craig.

That would imply that it is not random, and it is happening to certain pages. Could you link to one page it is happening on.

To me, it happens on the homepage, here and here, for example.

Hi N A T,

I've been doing some browsing on your forum with Chrome and haven't encountered the issue at the moment. Out of curiosity, if you were to open a new Incognito window within Chrome and visited the forum with that, would you encounter the same issue? Or would it be cured for you with that mode enabled?

It's happening for me randomly, and it appears to only happen when Javascript is enabled. Trying to figure out what is causing it. I would recommend disabling each plugin one at a time to see if it's a plugin. If not, you may also want to try temporarily removing this code as well.

I love all of Jordan's suggestions above. However I will note that I used a tool that we have to disable all of your plugins and the issue was still occurring for me, so I think it is unlikely that is the cause.

Thank you all for trying to figure this out. Everything seems to be working fine in my other browser, Firefox, just not in Chrome. I tried emptying the cache, and even in incognito, it's still happening, especially in this thread and on the homepage.

I'm still working on tracking this down. Some Chrome users aren't able to get the issue at all, but it does occur on my phone for instance (with the Chrome mobile browser).

Did you try removing the bit that Jordan pointed out?

I've think I've got it narrowed down to a file called beacon.js from b.scorecardresearch.com. Looking for the specific line that is screwing things up.

Edit: Meh, it's so random, it appeared to be the one causing problems but now I'm not so sure.

What's interesting is if you zoom out (less than 100%) you can see more of the page.

I'm fairly certain that me and a dev have narrowed down the cause of this. We're testing things out and should hopefully have more for you soon.
