Do you happen to have an MP remodel that changes the structure of the mini-profile?

Not an actual remodel. I adjusted some things to my preferences using the default mini-profile.

I added an <hr> divider to separate the custom profile fields from the general fields and changed the wording of
some of the options, but that's about it.

The code looks for a colon to separate the label from the data in the custom fields. your template would need to be like:

{foreach $[user.mini_custom_field]}

<span class="$[user.mini_custom_field.content_class]">$[user.mini_custom_field.name]: $[user.mini_custom_field.value]</span>

is there a way to set it so that all users can view the Custom Mini profiles, but only the mods and whoever is on a custom list can edit their own profile? I'm thinking that maybe this would be a pretty neat feature for people in my community who contributed a lot (a.k.a. those who posted a certain number of times), kind of like a reward for them.

EDIT: I mean, I see the "Exclusion Members" option, so I'm assuming with this option that whoever is on this list can view others' profile edits but can't edit their own. But is there an option for "Include Members", so that whoever is not on the list can view others' profile edits but can't edit their own?

I have used this plugin on other forums, it worked nicely! Suddenly though, the background disappeared and I couldn't get a picture to work in the background. Now I have my own forum, and the problem still exists. I put the URL in the right section, but the background doesn't change. Is there any way I can fix this?

Probably not on a name by name basis.  the list wouldnt have infinite storage.  the exclusion list was meant to disallow someone who abused the privilege of having a custom background.  maybe it could be added to have it only allow edit for listed groups, and you could just add that person into the "permission" group

Have you tried a different image?  what is the URL you are attempting to use?

ah it's ok save yourself the trouble. I decided to just let it available as an option for all my members at the get-go. They love it!

I want only certain non-staff groups to be able to do this. I was able to do that, but I don't want the non-staff that /aren't/ allowed to do this to be able to see the blanks when they're editing their profile.

ok. Say I want only staff plus certain groups to be able to use the mini profile background, but I want everyone to be able to see the mini profile backgrounds that people, who are allowed to do so, are using. Is this possible, or can I add this feature somehow?

Edit: Gosh the guy just above me asked this question. Sorry. But I guess I still don't understand your answer to his question. I'm kinda new to proboards so sorry if this is a simple fix and I'm just not getting it.

Edit 2: I reread the response to the other guy, and I guess if I understand it right, that function isn't possible unless you add it to the plugin? Would you be willing to add it? If you don't have time, would you be willing to let me have the code so i could mess with it and see if I could figure out how to do it?

Yeah I can make it where only specific groups will be allowed. leave blank if you want all groups.

We've recently have run into an issue regarding the mini background profile area where new members are concerned
When clicking on the options for image/text color, a small window usually pops open

Well for the new members now, they have no window that opens up and when you just copy/paste on the line themselves, nothing happens

Looked at the plugin, but there simply is not much there to look at


Any suggestions/ ideas on what could be causing this or what I can try to do to correct this?
Thought about uninstalling/reinstalling plugin, but I do not want to mess up other members image/text that are already set up

just registered on your forum. everything works correctly using google chrome. U will have to get different information from the user as cause to his error
