@joecool111 Found the function responsible in the Global Header. So you have two options: either request an updated version in the Headers & Footers section of support to allow for tags or remove it from the Global Header.

ok can you get me the code pls im not sure which it is, i'll have to ask for it updating.

its important i keep it like it is.

iv nearly got this fixed thank ulises, just one thing, could we have the alert say 'toby123 has tagged you in the shoutbox'


atm it jsut say 'toby133 has tagged you!!'


Edit: iv acctually named my 'thread booster' though

@joecool111 Yep! Go to your plugin list, click on "ShoutBox Tags" and then click on the "Build Plugin" button. From there choose the components tab and scroll to line 111. From there it should be pretty simple to change the text and don't forget to save changes!

i dont know why its not there sorry

edit: i have another problem aswell, the alert had all the text from the thread i was in at the time it appeared.


so it said ....  'toby123 has tagged you!! (then all the text from my thread i was looking at the time was here from the 1st post in the thread) 

 its this thread it only pops up in. goldenbeatz.uk/thread/287/artists-events?page=1&scrollTo=748

@joecool111 My bad king of the oreo! I thought I made my plugin editable -- jeez what is with me and my plugin? -- the new updated version is now available in the library. You should be able to edit it now!

EDIT: Woah, that's definitely a bug. Let me do that on my test forum and see what is up.

Tiffy-Bean I tested with that mod and it should work. Wipe your cookies/cache and see if it works. Also make sure you have notifications allowed for your website. What is your username on that forum so I can look into it for you as well.

tags enabled and cookies/cache are wiped.  It still isn't working.

my username is admin.  I'll enable the shoutbox to guests so you can test it if you like.

p.s. Ulises: I love your mini-profile.  It's epic!

i still cant edit it sorry. its still say 0.0.1
