Any idea what the user name isn't being picked up in this code?

We think it might have to do with the placement of the plugin, that another one that affects the mini profile is interfering with the code.


Try changing this:
var userName = $(this).parent().find(".user-link").text();

to this:
var userName = $(this).closest('.mini-profile').find(".user-link").text();

That should've worked.

Try putting the line back how it was and then move the scavenger hunt plugin up higher above the color smear plugin.

Let us know how that works out for you.

No worries if it can't be figured out. It's almost time to leave for the holiday.

I'm not sure anyone really clicks on the number collected container.

That was a weird one. So first I found out why Scott and I's fix didn't work. A plugin is adding duplicating the display name that the scavenger hunt plugin is looking for:



Try disabling that plugin (temporarily) and put in the original fix that we mentioned before, for a start.

I just spotted Baby New Year here on Support.  And I see there's no problem with the number container here.

Woops! I totally forgot to say which plugin. The plugin to disable would be "Replace Display Name With Image (1.1.1)" Sorry! ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥

Ok. Color Smear is disabled.

The original fix is added and the fix is still doing the same thing it did when Color Smear was enabled . It's repeating the User's name.

So Color Smear isn't affecting it.
