That's the one that's affecting that bit of code!


But I'd rather the scavenger plugin either repeat the user's name or not show it.


Too many members have that plugin utilized ~ including myself!

So I guess I'll keep your fix (thank you!!!!!!! ) and just let the names repeat!

The original fix is added and the fix is still doing the same thing it did when Color Smear was enabled . It's repeating the User's name.

So Color Smear isn't affecting it.

How odd.

Now, some of the names are repeating twice, and some aren't repeating at all; but the multiple repeats are gone!

That's a tricky one since it adds the username by however many mini-profiles are on the name. It really sounds like a bug with the plugin. Anywho, an easy fix (that keeps both plugins) would be to add this anywhere inside the opening and closing div tags of the mini-profile template:

<span style="display:none;" id="scavenger-mini-profile">$[user.link]</span>

Then simply have the plugin look for this selector: 'span#scavenger-mini-profile'


so that line of code would look something like this:

var userName = $(this).closest('.mini-profile').find("span#scavenger-mini-profile").text();

EDIT: Just saw your post. Yep, it would base on however many mini profiles of that user are present on the page!

But honestly, changing template codes isn't feasible since we have so many themes, most with CSS changes in the mini profiles.

♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ Luckily, as with many things at Proboards, there's more than one way to skin a cat! Instead of that modified code replace it with this:

var userName = $(proboards.data('user').avatar).attr('title');

That would get the name of the user that is currently logged in which would be the one that clicked on the thing to begin with.

It's far better than the original code that shows no one's name or the one that shows repetitive names. So all is well.

Sorry for the double post.

So I've been spending all day digging around in this plugin. I've been trying to make a leader board for it or make it sortable in the member list. I'm thinking the key needs to be changed to forum super so that everyone may see the data (correct me if I'm wrong).

When I change they key type and clear it's data I get two errors.

The alert that shows you how many hidden objects you've collected is "NaN" instead of a number.

And:

You can only increment a number.



Error Code: 64

Key: sh_obj_amount

Object Id: 1

To store data in a plugin key, you need to use JavaScript.



User Keys

To store data in a plugin key for the currently logged in user, the code is:

I know a way to cheat this very easily, I'm going to keep it private from the public, but if you want me to tell you how I got this much (keep in mind I registered today) then PM and I'll tell you, and warning: It may not be fixable.
