After asking that question the other day, I realized that restricting where users upload from was not the way to go.

Good morning, I created the cloudinary management console, and I uploaded the plug in, but how do the members get to take advantage of this?  At the moment only I can since I am admin?  My members are seniors and are that that computer savy and I want them to be able to upload pictures but now of course they cannot.

I did a fake member to try and upload a picture but it told me upload preset is missing.  Can this be fixed without them all making a cloudinary management acct.  I have set for them to upload files locally, from their computer

That was my original idea with this plugin but I'd rather have it open for everyone. BUT you can simply give your members the cloud name and upload preset and they can fill it out with your information. The other options can be up to them.

thank you, but here in the site I noticed a person mentioning the plugin Simple pictures and that works great for what my members want

Ok, now I need help with this... if I go this way how would I make it where all the pics would be the same size? I have some members that are still with dial-up and large pics takes a while loading for them.

daylilydude So when you are making your upload preset, or already have one go to this section of your dashboard and click on edit:



From there you can set all your specifications for size and a whole ton of other stuff as you see in this screenshot:



After that, scroll down and hit save. You can then test it out yourself to make sure that the changes are working.

It seems to be working great but i'm not gonna let all the members know just yet until i'm sure... thank you so much for the plugin and the help with it.

Ulises I just noticed that when I go to make a new thread that below where my shout box is there is an "upload file" button there... is this something that can be changed... I don't need it there?? I think this screenshot worked?
