Where can we see a list of the biggest forums?

This isn't meant to be anything official. This is just a list I created of the largest ProBoards forums I've personally seen. 

If anyone owns or knows a forum that they think should be added to this list, feel free to PM me.

Note that I should be able to see your total posts as a guest so that I can update your total in the future.

How long did this take you to make and how did you find the forums?

I view ProBoards Support fairly often. I enjoy clicking on everyone's links and seeing how they designed their forums. So, over the course of years, I ended up with a list of very active forums. I updated it whenever I saw one that wasn't in my list.  Making the table in my reply was slightly annoying because if I messed up a cell, it sometimes added unnecessary spacing and I was unable to undo my mistake.  I do update the post counts once in a while, but that takes less than 15 minutes.

Do you update this often? It was helpful to assist in my professional and personal expectations as well as to see what levels of activity free forums can handle.

Great list bigballofyarn, I too enjoy looking at other proboards sites for esthetic and function specially the big sites. They often get me to  think  " Oh wow that's a great design/feature/widget,  i wish I knew how to do that".
Or just to peek at the "culture" of the site, or the leadership style of their staff ect..

I update it about once per month.

Would a forum that has 100K post be in the top 50 ore just out.

I've avoided adding all that were under 400K to save myself the trouble of editing the table all the time.  Something at around 100K wouldn't be on the list if I added all the others I saw.

Your site has  an  outstanding ratio of almost 200 posts/per member, that's better than a few of the bigger sites

But still not in the order of the largest forums that are out there.
