greenhorn, 1. Go to Admin > Themes > Theme Manager 2. Click on the theme name, then click on the Images tab. 3. Scroll down to the Smiles section. 4. At the end of the Smiles section is the option to "Add New Image" 5. Click the Link button to add the URL of the new smile (emoji) or click the Upload button to upload the emoji from your computer.

greenhorn , were you able to complete steps 1 and 2 of my instructions? I have found it now. And if I want to add new smilies to my board, how do I type in the url? For example, I am on this site: www.smilies.4-user.de/Let's say, I want to use a smilie. You click on the smilie and you are given three options which to enter: Either you use the BB Code or URL or HTML. There are three different links for those. Which one do I chose for Proboards?

greenhorn, according to that site they recommend you download the smile and then host it on your site. So this means you right-click an image and choose the "save image as" option to save the image to your computer. Then on the forum you use the Upload button to add the smile to the theme.

I will try that. I was using the url, but I will do what you say.

Is there a limit to the numbers of emojis that you can add? Because there is a function where you have to pay to add additional stuff (sorry for my bad English).

There is a limit to the size of the theme of 10MB. This means that the total size of the theme (CSS, images, templates) cannot exceed a 10MB total size. This limit cannot be surpassed in any way. If you require additional space, there are plugins that can extend the amount of smilies you have, such as the Personal Smilies Plugin.

I mean, I am one of the broke folks.
