greenhorn , 1. With your current settings, ONLY approved registered members who are logged into the forum can view the forum's contents. 2. Pending members can only be approved manually by the action of the forum's creator (admin) as well as by any member that has the power granted them via a member group. There is no automation or bypass. The question I didn't see asked is... what makes you think users registering for your forum are being automatically approved or bypassing the system?

If you go to Admin Home > Security > Security Log then select 'Member Logs > Approvals', you will be able see who is approving members. Also if you go to Admin Home > Members > Member Groups and click on the 'Edit' button for Administrator and Global Moderator, then look in the Admin Area section and set Approve Members: to No, only you will be able to approve members. An administrator of another forum accuses me of reporting his forum. Is there any way to prove that I never reported him, in fact never reported anybody? Thank you so much for your help, again.

There is no way to prove that, we do not release those details.

However there is a gap from March 5, 2020 to May 1, 2020 where restricted registration was disabled by one of your staff. Although I would assume you know this as you re-enabled the restricted registration on May 1. During the 2 months with restricted registration disabled users joining your forum would not need to be approved. Restricted Registration works when it is enabled. I might suggest that you confer with your forum staff to make sure you are all on the same page regarding the forum's settings.

I am now under a false accusation because I started my own board.

There is apparently WW3 going on between two boards and I got pulled into the middle of it.

greenhorn, sorry I have nothing to offer as this is beyond the scope of what this forum is about. We offer 'technical' support, not a counselling service. In fact our forum rules even state that member/forum squabbles should be left at the door and not brought to the support forum.

I would like to add pics from Rive Gauche in Paris. How would that work? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Go to Admin>Themes>Advanced Styles & CSS> then you should be able to find the Background section at the top where you can add your background image.

I don't believe that plugin applies to PMs. Check the settings for that plugin.
